Today we have a special spotlight to share with you. Paul Gauci emailed these photos of an electric guitar (a carved es 335) he has been crafting for the past two years.
The the timber that forms the body is Queensland Maple sourced from Boutique Timbers. The fingerboard and on the head stock is ebony. White plastic bindings are abolone and mop inlays. Tobacco burst sprayed finish with shellac (tinted with Feast Watson stains), and nitro lacquer over the top.
