Fresh off the Mill: Flooded Gum

Fresh off the Boutique Timbers mill is a fine specimen of Flooded Gum (Eucalyptus Grandis). This tree felled locally produced clear flitches over 6m in length. This was a custom order and is destined to a boat builder. Lengths will be steam bend to contour the future vessel.

Spotlight: Jen & Adam Madden

Adam & Jen Madden sent in these photos of two lovely turned clocks. The timber is some highly figured fiddleback Jarrah. This is a exceptional example of a classic Western Australian hardwood. Great job.
