Spotlight: David Trethewy
David Trethewy recently sent in photos of some impressive projects made with Boutique Timbers. The first two are made from beautiful fiddleback Red Sirus. The first is a bookmatched slab dinning table and the second a bedhead with shelves. The third project is a bedhead made from Australian Red Cedar which includes turned posts and a carved centrepiece. Top job David.

Fresh off the Mill: Red Bean
A few weeks ago I posted the arrival of some Red Bean logs from Mackey in Queensland. Now that they have been slabbed you can start to see their amazing red colour. (Remember that the 'wet colour' when finished will be even richer.) Beautiful timber from Boutique Timbers.
